Back End Developer

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join a highly skilled Center of Excellence team operating like a technology startup within a large organization.

What will you do?

• Lead strategic technology initiatives and cross-organizational engineering projects
• Design advanced system architectures and define engineering standards
• Build POCs and production-grade solutions – this is a hands-on role
• Develop and implement AI-powered solutions and Agentic AI
• Build AI Agents at the code level
• Drive improvements in Developer Experience, Developer Productivity and SDLC
• Design and develop enterprise platforms and development accelerators
• Promote Cloud, DevOps, Platform Engineering and AI adoption across the organization

What are we looking for?

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong hands-on Backend development experience with Java & Spring Boot – MUST
• Significant experience in software architecture, solution design and technical leadership
• Hands-on experience with Cloud technologies, preferably AWS
• Strong experience with AI / Generative AI/ Agentic AI/ Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code
• Good knowledge of Node.js and/or TypeScript
• Experience with Frontend / UI development or strong technical understanding of frontend technologies
• Strong understanding of Kafka, RabbitMQ, REST APIs and system integrations
• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS and/or OpenShift
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD
