Project Quality Engineer (Defense & Aerospace)

We are a leading Defense Company based in Central Israel, and we’re looking for a Project Quality Engineer to own end-to-end quality management across mission-critical aerospace programs.

💡 What You’ll Do:

• End-to-End Program Qality Ownership: Drive quality strategy from initial contract reviews through design/project reviews to final delivery.
• Aerospace Process Leadership: Manage quality execution in complex aerospace projects, interfacing directly with internal and external subcontractors.
• Auditing & Compliance: Lead internal program audits and host external client/regulatory audits to ensure full compliance with AS9100 and ISO-9001.
• Documentation & Standards: Author and update Quality Plans, SOPs, and technical documentation aligned with military and civil aerospace standards.
• Customer Interface & Reliability: Manage customer feedback, root cause analysis, non-conformance reporting, and statistical analyses (such as FRACAS).
• Final Release Assurance: Conduct thorough pre-shipment inspections to guarantee top-tier product integrity.

🎯 What You Bring:

• Certifications (Must-Have):
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
• Certified AS9100 Lead Auditor / Auditor
• Experience: 5+ years in Quality Engineering or Quality Management within the Defense or Aerospace sectors.
• Standards & Stakeholders: Deep expertise in ISO-9001 and AS9100, with proven experience working alongside global and local OEMs.
• Languages: Full professional proficiency in both English and Hebrew (written and spoken).

Advantages / Standout Skills:

• Background in reliability engineering, test engineering, FMEA, or FMECA.
• Hands-on familiarity with APQP, Zero Defects (ZD), or civil aviation standards.
