Assistant Controller

Description

Paragon is looking for an Assistant Controller to join the finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You'll work alongside talented professionals and play a key role in building and improving our finance processes as the company continues to grow.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the month-end close process, including analysis and consolidation
• Support the accounts payable process, including invoice processing and payments
• Prepare annual financial statements and tax reports
• Monitor accounting processes in accordance with US-GAAP
• Participate in tax-related projects
• Reconcile intercompany balances
• Perform ad hoc financial analyses and reporting tasks
• Support the company's expense and procurement processes
• Provide accounting guidance and ensure the consistent application of US-GAAP across financial processes.
• Support the bookkeeping function and investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies
• Work closely with the external auditors
  
  

• CPA with at least 3 years of experience at one of the Big Four accounting firms, in a high tech department
• Strong knowledge and experience with US-GAAP accounting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent Excel skills
• Excellent written and verbal English
• Proven self-initiated problem-solving skills
• Able to work in a fast-growing environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Independent, detail oriented, a team player, a great multitasker and be able to think outside of the box
