Summary

The Senior Procurement Manager will lead the execution of the company’s procurement strategy, overseeing end-to-end purchasing, vendor management, and contract governance across the organization. This role partners closely with IT, Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders to manage software and service renewals, optimize spend, and ensure tools and vendors deliver clear business value. By maintaining strong procurement systems, a single source of truth for the technology stack, and disciplined governance around access, utilization, and contracts, you will drive cost efficiency, mitigate risk, and enable scalable, compliant growth.

Responsibilities

• Execute the organization’s procurement strategy and manage end-to-end purchasing processes, systems, and policies.

• Partner cross-functionally with IT, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Customer Success, and Operations to align procurement decisions with business needs.

• Own and manage software, tool, and service renewals, including stakeholder alignment on use cases, value, ROI, and renewal strategy.

• Negotiate contracts and pricing by leveraging combined purchasing volumes to achieve the lowest total cost of ownership.

• Maintain a single source of truth (SSOT) for the company’s technology stack, including tools, owners, access models, seat types, and usage.

• Define and enforce procurement governance, including access approval rules, contract compliance, and coordination with IAM on provisioning.

• Evaluate and monitor vendor performance through defined KPIs, ROI frameworks, and regular review cadences.

• Track license utilization and headcount forecasts to minimize waste and support accurate planning.

• Identify supplier and platform risks and develop mitigation and continuity plans.

• Support financial processes by providing data for purchase orders, forecasts, renewals, and contract amendments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in procurement in the software business

• Amazing communication skills, low ego, and empathy 

• Personal attributes such as confidence and integrity in addition to being determined and thorough, which is inherent in this position

• Experience reading and understanding contracts and managing Software and Cloud Services vendors and expenses

• Demonstrated understanding of end-to-end IT value chains

• Demonstrated ability to model various business scenarios and analyze resulting costs, impacts, risks, and benefits to inform and recommend business solutions

• Demonstrated ability to assemble and analyze large quantities of data and conduct in-depth analysis of the data, such as should-cost models, benchmarking, etc

• Our salary range reflects gross base salary. For commercial roles with commission eligibility, this figure represents On-Target Earnings (OTE), inclusive of base salary and target commission.

• Salary ranges are quoted in USD as a consistent global reference. Your offer will be localized to your country's currency using a market-aligned conversion.

• Final pay is based on objective, job-related criteria including experience, skills, and location.

• We don't ask about salary history. Offers are based on the role and what you bring to it.
