Team Lead

🚀 Engineering Team Lead | Backend | AI x Cybersecurity | Tel Aviv

We're looking for an Engineering Team Lead to join a fast-growing, well-funded cybersecurity startup building an AI-native platform that's transforming how security teams automate complex workflows.

This is a technical leadership role with a strong hands-on component, giving you the opportunity to lead engineers while staying close to the architecture and the code. You'll be leading the team responsible for the company's core product, playing a key role in shaping its architecture, scalability, and future direction.

What you'll work on:

• Building large-scale distributed backend systems

• Designing and evolving a microservices architecture running on Kubernetes

• Developing AI and LLM-powered capabilities

• Driving technical direction, architecture, and engineering best practices

• Mentoring engineers and helping build a high-performing engineering organization

What we're looking for:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years leading engineering teams

• Strong Backend or Full Stack development background

• Experience building end-to-end systems

• Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure

• Experience designing and building large-scale, distributed systems

• Degree from a leading university and/or experience in an elite military technology unit

Nice to have:

• Go experience

• Cybersecurity background

• Startup experience with end-to-end ownership
