Senior GNC Algorithms Engineer | Autonomous Drones

We're looking for a Senior GNC Algorithms Engineer to join an innovative startup developing cutting-edge autonomy technology for drone operations in complex real-world environments.

This is an opportunity to join the company at an early stage, work directly with the CTO, and become one of two senior algorithm engineers shaping the core technology behind the product. As the company grows, you'll have the opportunity to influence both the technical direction and the future of the engineering organization.

What you'll do

• Design and develop Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC) algorithms for autonomous drone systems
• Develop navigation, estimation and sensor fusion algorithms using GNSS, IMU, Radar, LiDAR and additional sensors
• Build simulations, analyze flight performance and validate algorithms
• Participate in flight testing, log analysis and continuous algorithm improvement
• Collaborate closely with software, electronics and mechanical engineers to bring algorithms into production

We're looking for someone with

• Proven experience developing GNC algorithms for autonomous systems (UAV experience is highly preferred)
• Strong understanding of control theory, navigation and state estimation
• Hands-on experience with sensor fusion and real-world autonomous systems
• Experience taking algorithms from concept and simulation through testing and deployment
• B.Sc. or higher in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

Experience with ROS, PX4 or ArduPilot is an advantage, but strong algorithmic fundamentals and real-world GNC experience are far more important.
