About the Role

We are looking for a highly resourceful, sharp, and creative Strategic Procurement Specialist to join our team in a hybrid capacity split between our Tel Aviv and Yokneam offices.

In this role, you will be responsible for building, executing, and managing the end-to-end procurement process for complex, high-volume products. We are not looking for a traditional buyer who simply issues purchase orders or asks for standard discounts. We need a master negotiator who thinks strategically, challenges convention, and brings creative, non-standard win-win solutions when working with global suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic & Creative Negotiation: Lead complex supplier negotiations that go beyond simple price cuts. Develop creative deal structures (e.g., leveraging NRE, framing framework agreements, and co-investing in supplier infrastructure) to drive cost efficiencies and secure long-term value.
• Global Supplier Management: Source, onboard, and manage international vendors and manufacturers across key global regions, ensuring strict adherence to lead times, quality, and scaling goals.
• Operational Procurement: Execute hands-on purchasing activities, issue purchase orders (POs), and actively manage suppliers to ensure tight delivery schedules for components and assemblies.
• Scaling Up: Manage high-volume purchasing (scaling from small batches up to 10,000–20,000+ units) and work closely with vendors to double production line capacities as the company grows.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with R&D, Operations, and Engineering teams to understand technical requirements across various hardware disciplines.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven Procurement Experience: 5+ years of experience in procurement/sourcing within a fast-paced Start-Up or dynamic hardware environment.
• International Supplier Footprint (Must): Hands-on experience working directly with manufacturers/suppliers in Germany, Europe, Taiwan, or India.
• Expert Negotiator: Demonstrated track record of out-of-the-box negotiation tactics and strategic supplier structuring.
• High-Volume Purchasing: Experience managing high-volume order scaling (tens of thousands of units) and frame orders.
• Hardware Orientation: Background in purchasing CNC machining / mechanical components OR electronic components / PCBA (experience with both is a strong advantage).
• Start-Up Mindset & Soft Skills: Highly dynamic, resilient, proactive, and adaptable to rapidly changing priorities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Location: Ability to work in a hybrid model across both Tel Aviv and Yokneam offices.
