Optivial Finance is a boutique CPA and financial services firm working with tech startups, high-growth companies, and publicly traded companies on Israeli and global stock exchanges. We provide outsourced CFO, controllership, FP&A, and financial reporting services to clients in Israel and the U.S., with over 25 years of combined experience and more than $1 billion in managed assets.

The Role:

This is a rare opportunity to get, in one role, the kind of exposure most finance professionals wait years for: you'll serve as Controller for a portfolio of tech startups and public companies, working directly with founders, CFOs, and leadership teams on both sides of the Atlantic.

You will:

Own day-to-day accounting operations and monthly/quarterly close for a portfolio of tech clients

Prepare financial statements under US GAAP and IFRS, including for publicly traded companies

Support public company reporting to Israeli and global stock exchanges

Work directly with client leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management

Manage cross-border (Israel–U.S.) accounting matters: intercompany, transfer pricing support, multi-currency

Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and payroll providers

Improve and automate accounting workflows across clients, leveraging AI tools (e.g., Claude) in day-to-day work

What We're Looking For:

CPA, with internship (התמחות) completed at a Big 4 firm — required

1–2 years of hands-on experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller — required

Solid command of US GAAP and/or IFRS and financial statement preparation

Proficiency with accounting/ERP systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks, Priority, or similar) and strong Excel skills

Hands-on ability to work with AI tools (Claude or similar) as part of your daily workflow — required

Strong English, written and spoken — you'll work directly with U.S. clients

Independent, proactive, and comfortable managing several clients in parallel

Nice to Have:

Experience with public company reporting (TASE, Nasdaq/NYSE)

Experience with tech-sector or startup clients

Experience with U.S. entities of Israeli companies
