Operations & Production Planning Lead

An Israeli company specializing in the design and manufacturing of advanced systems for the defense industry, both airborne and ground-based applications, is seeking an Operations & Production Planning Lead to join its team. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all operational activities within the project while ensuring compliance with schedule, quality, and budget objectives.
• Manage and lead operational teams and cross-functional Operational IPTs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor and control project progress, identify risks and deviations, and implement corrective actions.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee supply chain, procurement, production, and logistics activities in Israel and internationally.
• Manage and control operational resources, inventories, materials, and project operating budgets.
• Work extensively with Oracle ERP systems and planning/control tools.
• Develop and manage work plans and project schedules, including What-If Analysis scenarios.
• Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) and Production Readiness Review (PRR) processes.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing teams, and subcontractors.
• Prepare status reports and present project updates and operational performance to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial Engineering & Management or a related field).
• Certification or training in Project Planning & Control is an advantage.
• Experience working with ERP systems, particularly Oracle, is an advantage.
• Proven experience managing operations in complex industrial/manufacturing projects.
• Willingness to work flexible and extended hours when required.
• Good command of English.
• Strong leadership, planning, monitoring, and multi-interface management skills.
• Strong process orientation with a focus on schedules, execution, and achieving targets
