Virtualization Specialist

About the Role

A one-of-a-kind opportunity to join the virtualization team of a leading healthcare organization and lead mega-infrastructure on an extraordinary scale of tens of thousands of virtual machines and around 1,000 physical servers The position is intended fora true Senior VMware Specialist with an architectural vision and strong hands-on capabilities, who will take End-to-End responsibility for planning, managing, optimizing, and developing advanced automation in a critical Enterprise environment The role includes managing VMware products end-to-end, developing complex workflows and scripts, managing Cisco UCS infrastructure and physical servers, resolving complex Tier 3 Tier 4 Production issues, leading large-scale upgrade projects, and working regularly with Networking, Storage, Security, and DevOps teams.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering, another Bachelor's degree including 400 hours of information systems courses, Practical Engineer in Computers or Technology, 500 hours of infrastructure courses, or a graduate of a technological unit in the IDF such as Mamram, 8200, Telecommunications, Ofek, etc who worked in the field subject to confirmation – Mandatory screening requirement
• At least 6 years of hands-on experience in virtualization infrastructure and between 5 to 7 years of experience working in large VMware Enterprise environments – Mandatory
• Deep experience working with VMware vSphere, vCenter, VMware NSX including Micro-Segmentation and advanced Troubleshooting, and vRealize Automation vRA at the level of developing complex automations – Mandatory
• Significant experience in automation and writing complex scripts in PowerCLI and PowerShell – Mandatory
• Experience in managing Cisco UCS infrastructure, working with physical servers from Dell, HPE, or Lenovo, and handling critical Production issues under pressure – Mandatory
• Deep systemic understanding in Networking, Storage, and Compute – Mandatory
