What you'll build

- On-board C++ (ROS 2, NVIDIA Jetson): mission assignment by physical placement — set a drone at a row start facing a direction and it knows which row and side it owns. Self-test, autonomous work, low-battery return, resume-from-progress.

- Backend (Node/TypeScript): site and mission persistence, RTK setup reuse, fleet state, fault classification and severity routing, battery-swap lifecycle.

- Operator tablet frontend: severity-sorted ticket queue, live lane view, one-tap confirm/override. Readable in direct sun, usable with gloves.

- Validation you own: deterministic simulation, then hardware-in-the-loop, then real fields. You define what "working" means and prove it.

Must have

- Strong production C++ (modern C++17/20).

- Shipped both backend services and a frontend real users touched.

- Linux as a working environment: systemd, networking, containers, reading logs at 2am.

- High GPA from a strong CS/EE/software engineering program.

- Field work in Israeli vineyards: 1–3 days a week during peak season.

- Immediate availability.

- ROS / ROS 2, device drivers, robotics, edge computing, fleet/multi-agent systems.
