Legal Counsel – Construction & Infrastructure

For one of our clients, a leading company operating in the construction and infrastructure sector, we are seeking a Legal Counsel to join its in-house legal team.

The role involves providing comprehensive legal support throughout the full lifecycle of complex construction and infrastructure projects, combining commercial agreements, tenders, claims, and dispute resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing legal support for construction and infrastructure projects throughout their full lifecycle.
• Advise on contractual matters, including extension-of-time requests, variations, exceptions, and claims.
• Support ongoing engagement with project owners, clients, subcontractors, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Provide legal support throughout tender and bidding processes, including tender reviews, clarification questions, and hearing procedures.
• Manage commercial disputes and litigation related to construction and infrastructure projects.
• Develop legal strategy and oversee legal proceedings from initiation through resolution.
• Coordinate and manage external legal counsel.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements.

Requirements

• Licensed Israeli lawyer with approximately 3–4 years of post-internship experience.
• Experience gained at a leading law firm – required.
• Significant experience advising and representing companies in the construction and infrastructure sector, with a strong emphasis on project execution.
• Proven experience in commercial litigation and legal proceedings involving construction or infrastructure companies.
• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a legal team.
• Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, accountability, and a proactive approach.
• High motivation and ability to perform effectively in a demanding work environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a service-oriented mindset.
