Senior Legal Counsel – Renewable Energy - JB-3469

A leading and growing renewable energy company is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join its legal team. This is a key position offering the opportunity to provide strategic legal support for the company's operations in Israel and internationally, while working closely with senior management and cross-functional teams across business development, engineering, operations, and finance.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing legal support for the company's operations and renewable energy projects.
• Draft, negotiate, and manage complex commercial agreements, including EPC, O&M, PPA, financing agreements, and other commercial contracts.
• Advise senior management and business units on a wide range of legal and commercial matters.
• Handle regulatory matters and liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies in the energy sector.
• Support strategic transactions and projects from initiation through execution and completion.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, including Business Development, Engineering, Operations, and Finance, as well as external legal advisors.

Requirements

• Licensed Attorney in Israel.
• At least 8 years of experience in commercial law, with a strong focus on the energy sector, preferably renewable energy.
• Proven experience negotiating and leading complex commercial agreements.
• Strong knowledge of energy regulations and the renewable energy market.
• Excellent commercial judgment, strong business acumen, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple stakeholders.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken
