Manufacturing Engineer

BENATAV, a leading manufacturer of miniature precision components for the medical device industry, is looking for an outstanding Manufacturing Engineer with strong systems thinking and a hands-on approach to join our engineering team and lead advanced manufacturing processes in a growing technological environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in developing manufacturing processes for an advanced medical product, collaborate closely with R&D, Quality, and Operations, and directly influence product quality and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing, including failure analysis and Root Cause Analysis
• Lead Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes to improve product and process performance, increase yield, and reduce costs
• Develop, characterize, validate, and implement efficient and robust manufacturing and assembly processes in compliance with regulatory requirements and ISO 13485
• Design and develop manufacturing equipment, jigs, fixtures, and engineering tools to improve quality, efficiency, and manufacturability
• Prepare work, manufacturing, and maintenance instructions
• Prepare engineering drawings and material specifications
• Lead NPI processes and the transfer of products from R&D to serial production, in close collaboration with R&D, Quality, and Operations
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance on protocols, reports, and IQ/OQ/PQ validation activities for manufacturing equipment and processes
• Perform data analysis, troubleshooting, and systematic resolution of complex technical issues
• Lead cross-functional engineering projects from planning through implementation

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering - required
• At least 3 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or Production Engineer - required
• Proven experience in leading engineering changes and ECO processes - required
• Experience in designing and developing manufacturing equipment, jigs, and fixtures using CAD software - required
• Experience with SolidWorks - preferred
• Experience transferring products from development to manufacturing through NPI processes - a significant advantage
• Experience working with ERP or PLM systems, including BOM management and configuration control - an advantage
• High proficiency in Hebrew and English
