Role Description:

The Assistant Chief Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Nesher. This position supports the Chief Accountant in managing day-to-day accounting operations, including maintaining general ledgers, preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities. The role includes overseeing bookkeeping processes, reviewing payroll calculations, supporting tax reporting and compliance, and coordinating with internal teams and external auditors. The Assistant Chief Accountant also helps implement and improve accounting controls, ensures accurate and timely financial data, and contributes to financial analyses that support management decision-making. Collaboration, attention to detail, and adherence to professional standards are central to success in this position.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - Required.
• Solid understanding of financial accounting and reporting, including general ledger management and preparing financial statements.
• Strong communicator who works well with colleagues, clients, and outside advisors - Required.
• Experience with bookkeeping, payroll, and basic tax and compliance work.
• Comfortable using accounting software and ERP systems, plus strong spreadsheet and office software skills.
• Able to analyze financial data, support budgeting and forecasting, and prepare clear, accurate reports for management.
• Well organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
