Infrastructure & Cyber Security Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure & Cyber Security Engineer to join our team and take ownership of enterprise infrastructure, cloud services, virtualization environments, and security technologies. This role combines hands-on expertise in cybersecurity, VMware infrastructure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Active Directory administration.

Key Responsibilities

Cyber Security & Network Protection

• Implement, manage, and maintain enterprise security solutions.
• Administer and optimize Firewall and Web Application Firewall (WAF) platforms.
• Design and secure internet-facing environments, including DMZs, reverse proxy architectures, and external-facing servers.
• Identify, prioritize, and remediate security vulnerabilities across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Manage and work with security technologies including EDR/XDR, SIEM, identity management, and traffic filtering solutions.
• Collaborate closely with infrastructure and development teams to improve security posture.

VMware Infrastructure

• Manage, maintain, upgrade, and optimize VMware environments (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi 7/8).
• Design and support virtual networking solutions including vSwitches and Distributed Switches.
• Administer storage connectivity and integration with SAN, NAS, and iSCSI environments.
• Configure and maintain HA, DRS, disaster recovery, and backup solutions.
• Automate infrastructure management using PowerCLI and PowerShell.
• Troubleshoot complex virtualization, operating system, storage, and hardware issues.

Microsoft 365, Entra ID & Active Directory

• Manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), identity synchronization, and Conditional Access policies.
• Administer Active Directory environments, Domain Controllers, and Group Policies (GPO).
• Manage Exchange Online and Microsoft 365 services, including mail flow, mailbox administration, and troubleshooting.
• Implement and maintain security controls such as MFA, Anti-Phishing, EOP, and identity protection solutions.
• Support and maintain hybrid environments integrating on-premises infrastructure with Microsoft Cloud services.

Requirements

Must Have

✔ Extensive experience with Enterprise Firewalls and WAF technologies

✔ Strong understanding of server security architecture and internet-facing environments

✔ Hands-on experience with vulnerability management and remediation across AWS, Azure, or GCP

✔ Experience with security platforms such as EDR/XDR, SIEM, IAM, and related technologies

✔ Deep knowledge of VMware vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi

✔ Experience with SAN, NAS, iSCSI, HA, DRS, and Disaster Recovery solutions

✔ Strong PowerShell / PowerCLI scripting skills

✔ Proven experience managing Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, and Exchange Online

✔ Experience working in hybrid cloud and on-premises environments
