Project Manager – MRO | Aviation Division

About the Job

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our MRO facility within the Aviation Division.

This is an opportunity to lead complex aviation maintenance projects, manage customer contracts, and work closely with operational, engineering, procurement, and business interfaces in a dynamic and highly professional environment.

What the Role Includes:

• Managing maintenance contracts and ongoing activities with customers.

• Executing project plans while coordinating interfaces with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and other internal functions.

• Monitoring project schedules, milestones, and financial targets.

• Working closely with the Israeli Air Force, Ministry of Defense, and internal IAI customers.

• Taking responsibility and participating in the preparation of quotations and commercial proposals.

• Preparing, monitoring, and updating project work plans.

• Managing multiple interfaces to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest aviation standards.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Engineering – required.

• At least 3 years of experience in aviation maintenance.

• Proven experience in project management.

• Experience working with the Ministry of Defense – an advantage.

• Familiarity with SAP – an advantage.

• Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills.

• Ability to manage multiple interfaces and priorities in a complex operational environment.

About the Division:

The Aviation Division provides comprehensive, high-quality maintenance services for aircraft, engines, and components under one roof.

Its activities include heavy maintenance, aircraft modifications and upgrades, civil and military aircraft modernization, and passenger-to-freighter conversions.

As part of this role, you will be involved in engine repair and overhaul activities, helping return engines to operational readiness. The position carries direct and significant responsibility for the execution of maintenance activities on Israeli Air Force engines, while maintaining uncompromising quality and compliance with the industry's most stringent aviation standards.
