A well-funded, innovative Medical Device & Digital Health tech startup operating as part of an established global health-tech corporate group.

The company develops cutting-edge implantable sensor systems designed for real-time physiological monitoring and wireless data transmission to devices and cloud infrastructure.

Currently in human clinical trial phases, the company combines deep scientific innovation with solid financial backing. The Israeli R&D hub employs around 25 core engineering professionals (within a wider group of hundreds of employees globally).

Located in Tel Aviv, operating on an in-office work model.

Role Description-

• Leading and executing end-to-end software component development for regulated Medical Device platforms, from design and architecture to production deployment.
• Hands-on software development primary in C# / .NET Core (~70%), alongside low-level libraries & HW communication code in C++ (20%), and UI components in React (~10%).
• Developing software across both Linux and Windows environments, bridging client applications, hardware communication layers, and cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborating closely with Algorithms, Hardware, Regulatory, and Quality teams within a regulated medical device environment.
• Reporting directly to the Software R&D Manager within an agile, multidisciplinary engineering group.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related exact science discipline – Mandatory
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience in C# / .NET Core – Mandatory
• Proven hands-on software development experience in C++ (native libraries, low-level integration, HW interaction) – Mandatory
• Hands-on development experience in Linux environments – Mandatory
• Experience with Frontend web frameworks (React / TypeScript) – Advantage
• Experience in regulated software development (Medical Devices, ISO 13485 / IEC 62304, Defense, or Automotive) – Advantage
