We are building hardware-software platforms powered by adaptive sound and vibration technology and design personalized vibroacoustic experiences that support nervous system optimization and enhance human performance in professional and recovery settings.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Tech Lead owns the full technology function at Immersa. This is a hands-on, full-time role. You will work directly alongside the CEO and ensure the technical integrity of everything we ship.You are responsible for embedded hardware and firmware, power electronics, hardware-software integration, and technical coordination of the software and industrial design teams. You are the person who knows the system end-to-end, keeps it moving, and holds the technical standard. We are a post-raise, pre-pilot company with validated technology and a clear path to commercial scale - we are looking for someone to grow with us.

This role is based in Tel Aviv with frequent on-site presence required.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own the hardware architecture across all current and future Immersa products.
• Design, build, and validate embedded electronics.
• Define and own the hardware-firmware interface with the software team.
• Provide technical direction to the software and industrial design teams.
• Own hardware acceptance testing, validation protocols, and pre-deployment burn-in
• Manage component sourcing, BOMs, and manufacturing coordination
• Lead full techonoological roadmap.
• Manage external specialists teams.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Embedded systems engineering depth — you have shipped real firmware on ESP32 or equivalent microcontrollers; you understand the hardware, not just the framework
• BLE proficiency — GATT, connection management, multi-peripheral coordination, and iOS BLE stack behavior; you have debugged real wireless issues in production
• Power electronics fundamentals — DC/DC converters, protection circuits, load analysis, and real bench experience with power trees
• Analog electronics — amplifier circuits, signal integrity, and electromechanical load driving
• Firmware in C/C++ for ESP-IDF and/or Arduino framework
• A builder's mindset — you prototype, test, and iterate; you finish what you start; you operate well under ambiguity and move without waiting for perfect specs
• Startup experience — you have owned outcomes end-to-end, not just executed tasks

NICE TO HAVE

• Haptic or audio hardware experience (transducer coupling, electromechanical systems)
