C++ Software Engineer

A well-funded, innovative Medical Device & Digital Health tech startup operating as part of an established global health-tech corporate group.

The company develops cutting-edge implantable sensor systems designed for real-time physiological monitoring and wireless data transmission to medical devices and cloud infrastructure.

Currently in human clinical trial phases, the company combines deep scientific innovation with solid financial backing.

The Israeli R&D hub employs around 25 core engineering professionals (within a wider group of hundreds of employees globally).

Located in Tel Aviv.

Role Description-

• Leading and executing end-to-end software component development for regulated Medical Device systems, from architecture design to production deployment.
• Hands-on software development across Embedded C/C++ and C# / .NET Core architectures (balanced distribution across low-level and system-level applications).
• Developing software across both Linux and Windows environments, integrating hardware, firmware, and cloud data pathways.
• Collaborating closely with Algorithms, Hardware, Regulatory, and Quality teams to comply with strict medical device standards (e.g., ISO 13485 / IEC 62304).
• Reporting directly to the Software R&D Manager within an agile, highly multidisciplinary engineering team.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technological discipline – Mandatory
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in C / C++ / Embedded Software Development – Mandatory
• Proven experience developing software on Linux operating systems – Mandatory
• Proven hands-on development experience in C# / .NET Core – Mandatory
• Experience in regulated software development (Medical Devices, Defense, Aerospace, or Automotive) – Significant Advantage
• Background in HW/SW interfaces, microcontrollers, sensor integration, or real-time systems – Advantage
