AR Engineer

From building new Lens features for Snapchat, to evolving Lens Studio, to developing computer vision and machine learning technologies - our mission is to bring AR to more people, places, and moments every day.

We’re looking for an AR Engineer to join our team in Tel Aviv.

As part of the Camera Platform team, you will build the features and infrastructure that power Snap’s augmented reality platform.

What You’ll Do

• Design and develop interactive camera experiences
• Build reliable, high-performance AR features
• Collaborate with Creative, Product, and Engineering teams
• Contribute to technical design and engineering best practices
• Identify and resolve issues across the AR stack
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Experience developing interactive applications
• Proficiency in a general-purpose programming language
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing AR, VR, graphics, or gaming applications
• Experience with Unity or Unreal Engine
• Experience with 2D or 3D content creation tools
• Knowledge of computer graphics, rendering, animation, physics, or simulation
• Experience with real-time systems and performance optimisation
• Experience working with artists and designers
