MECHANICAL CAD DESIGNER

Proficient with AutoCAD 2D, AutoCAD 3D and Inventor/Vault.

Duties

Generate facility layout drawings
Manufacturing drawings and details
Experience with machine/fabrication/ welding shop techniques and methods
Must have a good understanding of drafting standards, geometric tolerances and weld symbols.

Responsibilities In Detail

Perform system mechanical design and create fabrication drawings
Create 3D modes using AutoCAD inventor
Review CAD drawing prepared by other team members
Study PID, specifications and drawings and ensure that all requirements are taken care of in 3D model
Pipe sizing calculations
