Emissary/Representative – Israel Advocacy – Relocation to Latin American Countries

Our client is a well-established non-profit national institution in Israel whose main activity is among Jewish communities abroad, focusing on strengthening Israeli society, supporting immigration and absorption, and promoting Jewish Zionist education abroad.

The Emissary simultaneously represents the organization and the State of Israel abroad for that country. The role includes raising funds in cooperation with the local community leadership for critical community-focused projects, operating the volunteer and clerical system, recruiting new activists and giving them the desired training both in the ideological-objective field and in acquiring the skills necessary to carry out the work.

The Emissary operates for that country independently, reporting to the Region Manager, who is overseeing representatives for that overall region. Relocation and housing/logistical support provided for the Emissary and any family members joining them.

Job Responsibilities:

• Relocation from Israel - overseas posting for a period of 3–5 years.
• Resource mobilization and relationship building with donors and Jewish communities worldwide.
• Maintaining and developing a network of connections with donors, foundations, and philanthropic organizations.
• Representing the Organization before communities, organizations, and local leadership.
• Leading fundraising initiatives and meeting targets.
• Planning and producing fundraising events, campaigns, and activities.
• Organizing delegations and coordinating donor visits to Israel.
• Forging partnerships and expanding circles of influence within the global Jewish community.

Requirements:

• MUST: 8+ years of professional experience.
• MUST: Fluent in Hebrew Plus Spanish OR Portuguese (depending on country of posting).
• MUST: Willing to relocate for 3-5 years to Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Panama, Brazil (based on availability/countries in need of an emissary).
• MUST: Be currently living in Israel for the past 5+ years.
• MUST: Bachelors Degree.
• Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic, international environment.
• Strategic thinking combined with strong execution capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, independence, and initiative.
• Ability to build relationships, foster collaborations, and lead processes.
• Experience in marketing, sales, fundraising, or management – an advantage.
