Physicist

We are looking for a Physicist (Ph.D.) specializing in Radiometric Modeling and EO/IR Simulation to join an advanced multidisciplinary R&D team working on cutting-edge technologies and complex physical modeling challenges.

The role combines scientific research, simulation, and quantitative analysis, with a strong focus on improving the accuracy and realism of advanced simulation environments.

Responsibilitie

• sResearch and develop radiometric modeling methodologies based on scientific literature and technical publications
• .Create and refine 3D radiometric models of complex targets based on technical specifications
• .Develop thermal distribution models and generate realistic target inputs for simulation environments
• .Work with advanced radiometric and EO/IR simulation tools
• .Perform quantitative comparisons between simulated and real-world imagery to evaluate and improve model accuracy
• .Improve and optimize radiometric models to achieve higher simulation fidelity
• .Build scenario-based simulation databases according to R&D requirements
• .Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and development teams
• .Define, when required, measurement requirements for reflectance, absorption, and scattering properties of thermal protection materials

.Requirement

• sPh.D. in Physics – required
• .Strong background in optics, radiometry, infrared physics, electro-optics, thermal modeling, or related fields
• .Experience with physical modeling, simulation, or computational physics
• .Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
• .Ability to independently research complex scientific topics and translate them into practical modeling solutions
• .Experience with 3D modeling or simulation tools – an advantage
• .Experience in defense, aerospace, or multidisciplinary R&D environments – an advantage
