SVP OF ENGINEERING

We have the business plan and the market access covered. These inventions are happening but you need to be a key Force in driving the prototype, build and product line. A fully designed architecture waiting for you (beginning preparation for nearly 26 patents) — the system design, sensor suite, AI logic, and hardware specification are complete. You are not starting from a blank page.

What we do not have yet is the person who begins to fit it together and build this invention including simulations.  It is a breakthrough technology. 

Who are You? 

You are finishing a military post or defense company with skills or you are already skilled. You are creative. You accept that you need to continuously learn. You need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment. 

This role is not about endless meetings. Those are handled. This role is about being in the lab at midnight making something work that has never been made before. It is about writing code and looking at the design. It is about solving and developing. 

It’s not a system made by connecting existing parts. It’s new tech. It is about being the kind of engineer who finishes things. After funding, we will immediately begin to grow.  The inventor understands and is your partner.  You are the solutionist of the build. If it works, and it will, I believe we will have a HHHHHUUUUUGGGGGEEE commercial market.  

What This Role Is — Plainly

▸  You build and you manage. You are tough but you also can listen to others. 

▸  You continue to write the software - communication protocol, sensor fusion, AI decision pipeline and develop what we wrote.  

▸  You integrate the sensors into a real-time system.

▸  You build the deployment mechanism. 

▸  You work with Israeli component suppliers, test facilities, and on the regulatory technical requirements. We might need to go international but we prefer Blue and White.  

▸  You can build a working prototype. Then you need to hand off a field ready prototype and then a system and then multiple products that are in the pipeline. All according to a demanding schedule. It’s a big deal. 

▸  You hire engineers under you as the company grows — but right now you are the engineering team. 

▸ You get time to be home with your family because we intend to train our employees on how that is done.  

What You Need to Have Done

▸  Built and flown autonomous drones — not assembled kits, built systems from specialized components or key components. 

▸  Written middleware for AI for real autonomous vehicles — not simulations, real hardware

▸  Integrated sensors into real-time autonomous decision systems — LiDAR, IMU, computer vision, or equivalent.

▸  Solved hard embedded systems problems – which?

▸  Background in defense or security or really talented in something similar. 

▸  MUST* Israeli security clearance or eligibility — required

▸  MUST* Hebrew and English — required

Nice to Have — Not Required

▸  Experience with NVIDIA  products or embedded AI inference

▸  Experience with carbon fibre composite fabrication or custom drone frame design

▸  Familiarity with Israeli defense supply chain

• Deep background in Software Development, including modern architectures, coding practices, and technology stacks relevant to large-scale systems.
• Proficiency in Project Management, with the ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives and deliver on time and within scope.
• Experience in Product Development, collaborating with product and design teams to translate business goals into technical plans and solutions.
• Proven track record in senior engineering or technology leadership roles, ideally at the VP or SVP level in fast-paced tech organizations.
• Ability to build, mentor, and retain diverse, high-performing engineering teams; commitment to inclusive and non-discriminatory leadership practices.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and decision-making skills, with comfort working with executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English; Hebrew proficiency is an advantage but not required.
• Experience with cloud platforms, distributed systems, and modern DevOps practices is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or equivalent experience are an advantage.
