Research Associate - Department of Immunology and Regenerative Biology

Your role will include:

Participation in a research project in the laboratory of Professor Atan Gross, focusing on the development of a therapeutic treatment for Parkinson's disease and investigating the enhancement of the glycolysis pathway as a mechanism to compensate for impaired mitochondrial function in Parkinson's disease.

Skills and abilities:

• PhD in Life Sciences – required.
• Knowledge and experience working with neuronal cell cultures – required.
• Knowledge and experience in cell biology, biochemistry, cell-based assays, and fluorescence microscopy – required.
• Knowledge and experience with in vivo models of Parkinson's disease – an advantage.
• Experience with mitochondrial assays – an advantage.
• High proficiency in Hebrew and English.
• Ability to drive processes and advance projects.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Creativity, initiative, and high motivation.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
