Key Responsibilities

Want to lead one of the most impactful teams at Check Point, in an innovative environment within a successful global company? Want to own the technical and product direction of our MSP (Managed Service Provider) platform - from roadmap to architecture to delivery - while growing a world-class engineering team? Check Point's MSP group is looking for a talented Team Lead to take the helm.

You will own the team end-to-end: technical architecture, roadmap, cross-functional alignment, execution, hands-on leadership, and people growth. Your decisions will shape products used by managed service providers worldwide and influence how they secure their customers.

Job Description

• Roadmap Ownership: Partner with Product Management to define and own the multi-quarter roadmap for MSP features and integrations, prioritize ruthlessly, and align with the broader Infinity platform strategy
• Highly Hands-On: Take part in writing code, and lead and mentor developers day to day
• Drive Architecture & Development: Lead end-to-end design and delivery of MSP capabilities — including BI, billing, and partner-facing integrations. Stay hands-on in design reviews, deep code reviews, and the hardest architectural decisions
• Cloud-Native Execution: Guide the team in building scalable, multi-tenant solutions on AWS, with event-driven pipelines (Kafka, SQS) handling high-volume operational and billing data
• Lead & Grow the Team: Mentor and grow a high-performing R&D team. Run one-on-ones, drive performance, and continuously raise the technical bar. Shape the team's engineering culture
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with Product Management, Finance, and partner-facing teams to deliver cohesive, high-impact solutions for MSPs
• Shape the Strategic Frontier: Help define how Check Point serves the MSP market as it grows and evolves
• Full-Stack Ownership: Guide technical decisions across the stack — Node, React, PostgreSQL, Redis, and the surrounding AWS services
  
  

• Proven Leadership: 3+ years as a Team Lead, Engineering Manager, or equivalent — with a track record of building teams, shipping production software, and owning a product or major component end-to-end
• Strong Engineering Background: 7+ years in software engineering overall, with hands-on fullstack experience in Node and React (or similar). Still comfortable reading a PR and leading deep technical reviews
• Cloud & Distributed Systems: Demonstrated expertise designing and operating distributed, event-driven systems on AWS at production scale, including experience with Kafka, SQS, PostgreSQL, and Redis
  
  

• MSP or Billing Domain Depth: Prior experience building or operating MSP platforms, billing systems, or BI/reporting products
• Data Pipeline Expertise: Hands-on experience with high-volume data pipelines and analytics infrastructure
• Multi-Tenant Architecture: Track record designing complex, scalable, multi-tenant systems
• Adjacent Domain Experience: Background in SaaS platforms or large-scale infrastructure products
