Purchasing Operations Specialist

Operating at a significant international scale, our Finance department manages complex cross-border transactions, high-volume reconciliations, and multi-currency reporting. We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Purchasing Operations Specialist to join our Purchasing team. This is a dynamic role that combines operational management, data analysis, and supplier coordination. You will manage purchase orders, monitor production progress, identify potential issues, and work closely with our teams in China and LA to ensure on-time delivery and successful product launches.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and track purchase orders from placement through production and delivery.
• Monitor production progress and ensure critical deadlines and launch dates are met.
• Analyze operational data to identify delays, risks, and process issues.
• Prepare reports and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Identify potential problems early and raise red flags before they impact production.
• Follow up on issues until they are fully resolved.
• Manage daily communication with our teams in China and coordinate activities remotely.
• Prioritize supplier orders based on business needs and production timelines.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and on-time execution.
• Continuously improve operational processes and suggest more efficient ways of working.
• Work independently to solve operational challenges and keep projects moving forward.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, or the Fashion industry – required.
• Strong analytical skills with experience working with data and reports – required.
• High level of English (written and spoken) for daily communication with international teams – required.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel – required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
