Senior C++ Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior C++ Software Engineer (Windows) to join the Air Defense Systems Division within the Missile & Space Systems Group at Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI).

The position includes:

• Developing software for the core software component of advanced air defense systems across multiple strategic projects

• Designing, developing, and maintaining desktop applications in C++

• Participating in software requirements definition, architecture, and detailed software design

• Working closely with Systems Engineers to develop complex, mission-critical defense solutions

• Contributing to the full software development lifecycle, including implementation, integration, testing, and maintenance

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams in a dynamic and technologically advanced environment

What we’re looking for:

• B.Sc. in Engineering, Computer Science, or an Exact Sciences discipline – Mandatory

• M.Sc. – Advantage

• At least 6 years of hands-on experience developing software in C++ – Mandatory

• Strong knowledge of modern Design Patterns – Mandatory

• Experience developing Windows applications – Significant Advantage

• Experience developing software in Linux environments – Advantage

• Experience with UML – Advantage

• Experience developing communication protocols such as UDP and TCP/IP – Advantage

• Experience with C# – Advantage

• Experience developing Command & Control (C2) systems – Advantage
