Senior Bookkeeper (Trial Balance)

We’re Hiring: Senior Bookkeeper (Trial Balance) | E-commerce & Wellness Brand

Mayven, a fast-growing and dynamic E-commerce wellness brand, is expanding!

We are looking for a thorough, highly independent, and experienced Senior Bookkeeper to lead our full accounting cycle end-to-end - up to the trial balance level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full and independent bookkeeping management up to trial balance.

• Complex payment processing and e-commerce reconciliations (Shopify, Stripe, PayPal).

• Managing local and international vendors, handling foreign currency transactions, exchange rates, and self-invoices.

• Handling import processes, customs clearance, and inventory cost control (COGS).

• Performing bank and credit card reconciliations alongside routine tax authority reporting.

Requirements:

• Certified Bookkeeper Level 2 – Mandatory (Level 3 – Significant advantage/preferred).

• At least 10 years of hands-on experience in independent bookkeeping up to trial balance - Mandatory.

• Proven experience in foreign currency management, international vendors, and exchange rate differentials - Mandatory.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel (complex formulas, Pivot tables, advanced reconciliations).

• Experience in an E-commerce / high-volume environment and familiarity with Dokka, Zoho, Shopify, or Hashavshevet – Significant advantage.

• High proficiency in Hebrew and strong command of English (for international vendor communication and documentation).
