Role Description The הנדסאי מכונות role is a full-time hybrid position based in Nazareth, with part of the work performed on-site and part from home as appropriate. The role involves designing, reviewing, and updating mechanical drawings and specifications, as well as supporting the planning, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment. Day-to-day tasks include performing technical calculations, preparing documentation and reports, coordinating with engineers, technicians, and suppliers, and assisting in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues on the production floor or at client sites. The position also includes monitoring equipment performance, contributing to quality and safety procedures, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing and maintenance processes.

Qualifications

• Formal education as a Mechanical Practical Engineer (הנדסאי מכונות) or equivalent mechanical engineering diploma.
• Experience with mechanical design, including reading and preparing technical drawings and using common CAD tools.
• Knowledge of industrial machinery, mechanical components, and maintenance procedures in a manufacturing or workshop environment.
• Ability to perform basic mechanical calculations, interpret standards, and apply engineering principles to practical problems.
• Strong documentation skills, including preparing technical reports, work instructions, and maintenance records.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities, with a collaborative approach to working with engineers, technicians, and operations staff.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Basic computer literacy, including office software; familiarity with ERP or maintenance management systems is an advantage.
• Commitment to safety practices, quality standards, and continuous improvement in mechanical processes.
• Hebrew language proficiency; English reading ability for technical materials is beneficial.
