Ravona LTD is an Israeli engineering and manufacturing company specializing in advanced equipment for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical, chemical, and cosmetics industries.

Our solutions include aseptic and containment isolators, sterility-testing isolators, RABS, VHP decontamination systems, glove-integrity testers, passboxes, and integrated fill-and-finish applications.

We are looking for a skilled, responsible, and customer-oriented Service & After-Sales Engineer to manage and support Ravona’s installed equipment base.

The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for service requests and will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance, calibration, spare-parts sales, upgrades, installation, and technical customer support.

When no service activities are scheduled, the Service Engineer will support the installation, assembly, testing, and commissioning of new equipment at Ravona’s facility.

The position combines hands-on technical work, customer communication, field service, commercial responsibility, and coordination with Ravona’s engineering and production teams.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming customer service requests.
• Manage each service case from the initial request through diagnosis, repair, documentation, and final closure.
• Provide remote and on-site troubleshooting for existing Ravona machines and systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, instrumentation, sensor, software, and control-system faults.
• Repair equipment and replace defective components, sensors, actuators, valves, filters, cables, electronic components, and other spare parts.
• Coordinate technical support with R&D, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automation, production, quality, and external suppliers.
• Provide customers with clear technical explanations, recommendations, and service updates.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, findings, work performed, parts replaced, and corrective actions.
• Follow up with customers after completing service activities to confirm that the equipment is operating correctly.

• Develop and manage preventive-maintenance and calibration schedules for installed equipment.
• Perform periodic inspections, preventive maintenance, functional testing, and equipment condition assessments.
• Coordinate and perform calibration activities for sensors, transmitters, instruments, and testing devices.
• Prepare calibration certificates, maintenance reports, service reports, and recommendations.
• Identify aging or obsolete components and recommend replacements, upgrades, or corrective actions.
• Track upcoming service and calibration requirements and contact customers proactively.

• Identify the correct spare parts, consumables, sensors, and replacement components required for each machine.
• Prepare technical spare-parts lists and support the preparation of commercial quotations.
• Promote and sell spare parts, consumables, calibration services, preventive-maintenance packages, upgrades, and service agreements.
• Follow up on quotations, purchase orders, delivery, installation, and customer acceptance.
• Maintain recommended spare-parts lists for each machine and customer.
• Coordinate spare-parts availability with purchasing, inventory, production, and suppliers.
• Identify additional after-sales opportunities based on equipment condition and customer requirements.

• Participate in and support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for new machines and systems.
• Accompany customers during FAT activities and provide technical explanations and demonstrations.
• Execute test protocols, record results, document open items, and support the closure of FAT deviations.
• Install, assemble, test, and commission equipment at customer sites.
• Support Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), qualification, and validation activities when required.
• Provide operational and basic maintenance training to customer personnel.
• Support equipment handover and ensure all relevant technical and service documentation is complete.

• When no field-service activities are scheduled, work at Ravona’s facility to support:
• Mechanical and electrical installation of new machines
• Equipment assembly and wiring
• Pneumatic installation
• Sensor and component installation
• Machine testing and troubleshooting
• FAT preparation and execution
• Equipment upgrades and modifications
• Preparation of machines for shipment and installation
• Share service findings with the engineering and R&D teams to support product improvements.

• Degree or practical-engineering qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of experience in field service, industrial maintenance, machine installation, commissioning, or technical support.
• Strong hands-on experience with industrial machines and electromechanical systems.
• Good understanding of mechanical assemblies, electrical systems, pneumatics, sensors, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, pneumatic diagrams, manuals, and technical specifications.
• Proven troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify the root cause of technical faults.
• Ability to work independently at customer sites and take responsibility for resolving service cases.
• Strong customer-service skills and a professional, commercial approach.
• Ability to identify spare-parts and service opportunities and support the quotation and sales process.
• Ability to prepare clear and accurate service reports, maintenance records, and calibration documentation.
• Good computer skills and familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, industrial networks, or software-controlled equipment.
• Excellent spoken and written English — mandatory.
• Good spoken and written Hebrew.
• Valid driving licence — mandatory.
• Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites throughout Israel and internationally.
• Flexibility to respond to urgent service requirements when necessary.

• Previous experience with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical-device, laboratory, food-processing, or cleanroom equipment.
• Experience with isolators, RABS, VHP systems, filling lines, glove-integrity testers, or automated process equipment.
• Experience performing calibration of pressure sensors, temperature sensors, transmitters, or other instruments.
• Experience with FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, commissioning, and validation documentation.
• Familiarity with GMP environments and regulated pharmaceutical equipment.
• Experience selling spare parts, service contracts, preventive-maintenance packages, or equipment upgrades.
• Basic knowledge of PLC programming, automation, industrial computers, or remote diagnostics.
• Experience providing service and technical training to international customers.

• Ownership of Ravona’s service and after-sales activities.
