Mechanical Design Engineer | Defense Industry

We're looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading defense company. This role is focused on hands-on mechanical design as part of the product development process, working on innovative multidisciplinary systems from concept through design, prototyping, testing, and validation.

Requirements:

Mechanical Engineering degree.

At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design.

Proven experience in hands-on mechanical design during the product development phase.

Experience designing mechanical assemblies and precision components from concept to production.

Experience working on multidisciplinary products, collaborating closely with hardware, electronics, systems, and manufacturing teams.

Proficiency with SolidWorks or a similar CAD tool.

Experience in the defense, aerospace, robotics, or medical device industries – an advantage.

Strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic development environment.

Please note: We are specifically looking for candidates with product development and mechanical design experience, rather than manufacturing, production, maintenance, or sustaining engineering backgrounds.
