Electronics Engineer – for the Engineering and Development Department

Engineering support for existing products throughout the product life cycle and new product development.

About the Role

Development planning and optimization of ATE tests.

Responsibilities

• Establishing product trees and managing part numbers in the ERP system.
• Ongoing engineering support with the company's departments (production, quality, TPI, marketing and sales).
• Working with subcontractors for the production of cards and assemblies.
• Full responsibility for circuit board design for new and existing products.
• Leading design surveys.
• Developing, validating and testing hardware to meet requirements and specifications.
• Laboratory and field tests of electrical performance of cards.
• Writing detailed functional specifications to document the hardware development process.
• Involvement in the design concept of mechanical/hydraulic/electrical solutions.
• Participation in debug processes and integration with the software.
• Finding the most efficient solutions at the right price for the required technological solution (value engineering).
• Previous experience in an industrial company in the water sector - an advantage.

Qualifications

• Education in electrical engineering - mandatory.
• At least 5 years of experience in industry in electronic design and development roles - mandatory.
• Good technical English - mandatory.
• Mastery of circuit design software using a circuit editor - mandatory.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Experience and understanding of card manufacturing processes - mandatory.
• Experience in leading a fault investigation - a significant advantage.
• Experience in the field of multidisciplinary products - a significant advantage.
• High personal responsibility, ability to work in a team and with multiple interfaces, a systemic vision alongside attention to detail and personal initiative to advance processes.

Required Skills
