Algorithm Engineer

We are looking for an Algorithm Engineer to join the Air & Missile Defense Systems Division within the Missile & Space Systems Group at Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI).

The position includes:

• Developing advanced algorithms for evaluating and improving the performance of air defense systems

• Designing and implementing algorithms to enhance system capabilities and operational effectiveness

• Working with simulation environments and analysis tools such as MATLAB and Python

• Analyzing system performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting the development of next-generation defense capabilities

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to solve complex technological challenges

What we’re looking for:

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics – Mandatory

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in algorithm development – Mandatory

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Passion for solving complex engineering and mathematical challenges

• Ability to clearly explain and communicate complex processes and concepts
