Located in central Tel Aviv (walking distance from the train station), operating on a hybrid work model.

Role Description-

• Building and managing a new Backend engineering squad of ~5–6 developers (combining direct hiring and managing existing team members).
• Maintaining a 20–40% hands-on involvement in architecture, code reviews, and complex feature development.
• Directing end-to-end development of scalable microservices using Java (Spring Boot), with additional exposure to Go and Python.
• Leading cloud-native engineering across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) utilizing Kubernetes, Docker, Neo4j, Elasticsearch, Redis, TimescaleDB, and RabbitMQ.
• Partnering with Product and Architecture teams to deliver mission-critical, enterprise-grade cloud security features.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technological discipline – Mandatory
• 2 years of direct technical leadership / management experience leading Backend software development teams – Mandatory
• 5 years of hands-on software development experience in Java (Spring Boot) – Mandatory
• Proven hands-on backend development experience in Cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP) – Mandatory
• Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes – Advantage
• Exposure to Go, Python, or Graph Databases (e.g., Neo4j) – Advantage
