We're looking for an experienced Cloud Data, Streaming & AI Platforms Team Lead to join a leading enterprise organization and lead a team responsible for the organization's core data infrastructure and streaming platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Platform Engineers, providing both technical and people management.
• Own and manage the Confluent Platform, including Kafka, Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, REST Proxy, KSQL, and Confluent Cloud.
• Manage and maintain Azure Synapse platforms.
• Lead and support DataOps, MLOps, and GPU infrastructure.
• Own infrastructure platforms including NiFi, PortX, Fluent Bit, and Filebeat.
• Lead platform implementation, upgrade, migration, and modernization projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
• Provide architectural guidance and technical support to Data Engineering and Data Science teams.
• Collaborate with vendors and technology partners.
• Drive automation, monitoring, and observability initiatives.
• Lead Capacity Planning, High Availability (HA), and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience leading a technology team.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience building, maintaining, and operating Data and/or Streaming platforms.
• Strong experience with Linux.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Kafka / Confluent Platform (On-Prem), including all core components.
• Proven experience troubleshooting complex production environments.
• Experience working closely with development teams and solution architects.
• Hands-on experience with one or more of the following platforms: Hadoop, Cloudera, Databricks, Spark, or Azure Synapse.
• Experience with Ansible.
• Experience in DataOps, MLOps, or AI Platforms.
