Consist is looking for an experienced Network & Security Engineer with strong expertise in Fortinet technologies to join our Infrastructure team in Ashdod.

In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain enterprise network and security solutions across production environments. You will be responsible for deploying and supporting FortiGate firewalls, FortiSwitch infrastructure, FortiAP wireless networks, IPsec VPN connectivity, SD-WAN, and High Availability (HA) solutions while ensuring security, performance, and reliability.

You will collaborate with infrastructure, virtualization, and security teams, participate in enterprise projects, troubleshoot complex networking issues, and help maintain secure, resilient, and scalable network environments.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Ashdod.

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network and security infrastructures.
• Deploy, configure, and support FortiGate firewalls and security services.
• Configure and maintain FortiSwitch switching infrastructure and FortiAP wireless networks.
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot IPsec Site-to-Site and Remote Access VPN solutions.
• Configure firewall policies, NAT, VLANs, routing, and security services.
• Implement and maintain High Availability (HA) and SD-WAN environments.
• Monitor network performance and proactively resolve production issues.
• Perform network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure optimization.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Work closely with infrastructure, virtualization, and security teams on enterprise projects.

• Strong hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering and network design.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, switching, routing, VLANs, NAT, and enterprise network security.
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet technologies, including FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, Security Fabric, UTM, SD-WAN, and High Availability (HA).
• Experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting IPsec Site-to-Site and Remote Access VPN solutions.
• Experience configuring and supporting enterprise routers, switches, and wireless networks.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills in production environments.
• Experience with network monitoring and packet analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Fortinet FCP/FCSS (formerly NSE), CCNA/CCNP, or equivalent practical experience – an advantage.
• Veeam Backup & Replication knowledge – an advantage.
• VMware vSphere and/or Proxmox VE knowledge – an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is an advantage.
