Software Safety & Cyber Systems Engineer

We are looking for a Software Safety & Cyber Systems Engineer to join the Engineering & Development Division within the Aviation Group at Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI).

The position includes:

• Performing cybersecurity risk assessments and cyber systems engineering activities for airborne platforms and defense systems

• Integrating IT cybersecurity controls into large-scale strategic programs

• Defining and implementing cybersecurity requirements based on industry-standard IT security frameworks

• Designing secure system architectures using a variety of IT security technologies and solutions

• Integrating IT cybersecurity capabilities into systems engineering processes and product development activities

• Presenting technical cybersecurity solutions to international customers

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure compliance with safety and cybersecurity requirements throughout the system lifecycle

What we’re looking for:

• B.Sc. in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Software Engineering – Mandatory

• At least 5 years of experience in Information Security or Cybersecurity – Mandatory

• At least 4 years of experience in one or more of the following fields: IT, System Architecture, Systems Engineering, or Software Systems Engineering for complex multidisciplinary systems – Advantage

• Knowledge and experience in risk management, information security, cybersecurity, and vulnerability assessment – Advantage

• Candidates without an academic degree may also be considered if they have significant relevant experience and supporting professional certifications

• Knowledge of secure software development and secure coding practices – Mandatory

• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and penetration testing (PT) for cybersecurity validation – Mandatory

• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
