CTO / Hands-On Technology Lead

We are an advanced-stage Sport-Tech startup with a working product, an existing technology infrastructure, proprietary data, professional domain logic, and strong early feedback from the field. We are also in advanced discussions with sports clubs and potential investors.

We are now looking for a CTO / Hands-On Technology Lead to join our core leadership team as its third member and help drive the company’s next technological leap.

• Quickly understand and take ownership of the existing product and infrastructure
• Write production code and lead development hands-on
• Improve product stability, performance, scalability, and quality
• Lead QA and establish structured development processes
• Connect external data sources and build API integrations
• Lead the development of AI and data infrastructure
• Build the technological foundation for future growth
• Make key technology decisions and work closely with the leadership team

• Strong experience building Web / SaaS products
• Hands-on experience with AI, data, and integrations
• High technical capability and willingness to work directly in the codebase
• Experience leading a product, development process, or engineering team
• Strong ownership, organization, independence, and communication skills
• Genuine availability and long-term commitment
• Ability to work at startup pace in a focused and practical manner

Experience with:

React, Next.js, Supabase, PostgreSQL, Vercel, APIs, and AI infrastructure.

This is not an advisory role, a short-term freelance project, or a side project.

We are looking for someone who wants to become deeply involved, take real responsibility, and have a meaningful impact on the product and the future of the company.

The initial engagement model will be progressive and based primarily on equity and stock options, subject to fit, actual contribution, and mutual progress.

A mutual trial period will take place before a full engagement.
