Role Overview

BEPC Inc. is seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Auditor to support a leading medical device customer by conducting supplier quality system audits throughout Israel. This remote, project-based contractor role is ideal for an experienced quality professional with expertise in medical device supplier auditing and fluency in both English and Hebrew.

The successful candidate will perform on-site and remote supplier audits, evaluate compliance with applicable Quality Management System (QMS) standards and regulatory requirements, prepare audit reports, and collaborate with suppliers to ensure effective corrective actions. This position requires approximately 60% travel, with travel expenses billed to the customer.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate supplier audits, including scheduling with suppliers and arranging travel when required.
• Conduct on-site and remote supplier quality system audits.
• Audit suppliers supporting the medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, microbiology, and sterilization industries.
• Evaluate compliance with applicable quality standards and regulations.
• Prepare detailed supplier audit reports that meet customer requirements.
• Update audit tracking systems (such as EtQ) with required audit information.
• Review supplier corrective action plans and determine acceptability.
• Work directly with suppliers to resolve audit findings and implement effective corrective actions.
• Review objective evidence supporting supplier corrective actions.
• Participate in customer audit meetings and provide audit status updates.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or another technical discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience auditing medical device manufacturers and/or their suppliers.
• Fluency in English and Hebrew (written and verbal).
• Strong knowledge of supplier quality auditing principles and techniques.
• Experience auditing to standards and regulations including:
• ISO 9001
• ISO 13485
• 21 CFR Part 820
• 21 CFR Parts 211, 11, and applicable regulations
• Experience preparing professional audit reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Certified Biomedical Auditor (CBA), or ISO 9001/13485 Lead Auditor certification.
• Additional language skills (Dutch, Portuguese, Italian, and/or Chinese).
• Experience with audit management systems such as EtQ.
