Software Development Manager

A large public organization in Tel Aviv is looking for an experienced Software Development Manager to lead a development team responsible for business-critical enterprise systems.

This role combines technical leadership, software development, and team management in a multi-technology environment.

• Lead and manage a team of 3 software developers.
• Design, develop, and maintain mission-critical enterprise applications.
• Develop new features and enhancements across multiple internal systems.
• Work in a multi-technology, Object-Oriented development environment.
• Oversee the maintenance, performance, and reliability of critical software applications.
• Lead complex software development projects from planning through delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Software Engineering Technician diploma or another relevant technological engineering qualification.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, including shell scripting.
• Strong experience with DB2 and SQL Server, including Stored Procedures.
• Proficiency in Java, C, and SQL.
• Good command of English.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with C#.
• Experience using IntelliJ IDEA and Visual Studio.
• Experience with Git and SVN.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of AI technologies.
• Experience managing complex software development projects.
