Senior Data Engineer

Role Description The Senior Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and platforms that power AI and analytics solutions for clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and optimizing ETL processes, implementing data models and data warehouses, and ensuring data quality, reliability, and scalability across multiple environments. The role involves close collaboration with data scientists, analysts, and cloud engineers to support advanced analytics and machine learning use cases, as well as contributing to architecture decisions and best practices for data engineering. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Tel Aviv District, Israel.

• Proficiency in data modeling and data warehousing concepts, with a track record of designing scalable, well-structured analytical and operational data stores.
• Hands-on experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) development, orchestration tools, and performance optimization for large-scale datasets.
• Solid background in data analytics, including querying, data exploration, and supporting BI, reporting, and machine learning workloads.
• Advanced programming skills in languages commonly used for data engineering (such as Python, SQL, or Scala) and familiarity with cloud data ecosystems (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience working in AI-focused environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams of data scientists, analysts, and software engineers.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and commitment to data security, reliability, and governance.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Platform or Data Infrastructure Engineer
• Proven track record building and operating scalable data infrastructure within Data Lake architectures
• Hands-on experience designing and running large-scale data processing workloads on Kubernetes, including KEDA autoscaling
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Working experience with a data orchestration platform such as Airflow or Prefect
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake
• Available to work from our Tel Aviv office 4 days a week, collaborating closely with engineering, data, and product teams
