About the Role

A leading insurance company in Central Israel is looking for an experienced Application Monitoring Engineer (APM) to join its Monitoring & Operations team.

In this role, you'll implement, configure, and optimize enterprise application performance monitoring solutions, helping improve system availability, reliability, and user experience. You'll work closely with Development, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Security teams to monitor critical systems, investigate performance issues, and drive continuous improvements.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and maintain Application Performance Monitoring (APM) solutions.
• Monitor system performance and identify bottlenecks and production issues.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis for complex application and infrastructure incidents.
• Configure Business Transactions, Metrics, Alerts, and Dashboards.
• Collaborate with Development, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Cyber Security teams.
• Improve End User Monitoring (EUM) and application performance.
• Support enterprise monitoring initiatives and platform enhancements.
• Drive continuous improvements in monitoring capabilities and system reliability.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with Application Monitoring, Observability, or APM platforms.
• Hands-on experience with AppDynamics or similar APM solutions.
• Experience analyzing application performance and troubleshooting production issues.
• Experience working with Development, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
