DevOps Engineer

A successful, high-growth High-Tech company developing an AI and Machine Learning platform tailored for customer service centers and enterprise contact operations.

Operating at high-scale traffic volumes, the platform provides real-time data insights, operational automation, and workflow efficiency for global enterprises.

The company employs approximately 90 professionals in its main Israeli R&D center.

Located in the Sharon / Herzliya area (walking distance from major transit hubs and train stations), operating on a hybrid work model with 1 day WFH per week.

Role Description

• Joining as a DevOps / Platform / SRE Engineer owning high-traffic, multi-tenant cloud environments on AWS.
• Building, scaling, and maintaining microservices infrastructure utilizing Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and Helm.
• Architecting modern CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows using tools like GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
• Developing infrastructure automation scripts in Python/Bash while leveraging modern AI coding assistants to accelerate development and troubleshooting.
• Managing enterprise datastores and caching solutions, including MySQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch.
• Actively exploring, integrating, and adopting emerging AI tools to continuously optimize internal DevOps and infrastructure operations.

Requirements-

• 4 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps / SRE / Platform Engineer in high-scale, high-traffic environments – Mandatory
• 4 years of deep hands-on expertise with AWS core services (EC2, RDS, VPC, S3, Lambda, CloudFront, IAM) – Mandatory
• Practical production experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and Helm – Mandatory
• Strong experience building CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or equivalent tools) – Mandatory
• Hands-on proficiency with Python and Bash scripting – Mandatory
• Hands-on experience working in both Linux and Windows environments, including performance tuning and security – Mandatory
• Experience managing and troubleshooting enterprise databases (MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch / OpenSearch) – Mandatory
• Active interest and hands-on usage of AI coding tools & automation assistants to accelerate engineering workflows – Mandatory
