This is a key technical leadership role at the heart of the company. You’ll lead a team of software engineers and security analysts, own the architecture and direction of complex systems, and help shape how our platform captures, interprets, and secures AI-driven interactions.

What You’ll Do

Lead and grow a multidisciplinary team of engineers and analysts, cultivating technical excellence, curiosity, and collaboration.
Define and drive the team’s roadmap and architecture, ensuring our systems are robust, scalable, and adaptable as the company evolves.
Design and review high-performance components for traffic processing, protocol analysis, and data modeling.
Work closely with Product and Operations to ensure technical initiatives deliver measurable impact for users and customers.
Contribute to and guide core engineering decisions — from design principles to infrastructure choices.
Mentor and empower team members, helping them grow in both engineering craftsmanship and ownership.

Help shape the engineering culture and technical vision across the company.

Requirements:

Who You Are

A seasoned engineer and leader who enjoys balancing technical depth with people and product leadership.
Experienced in distributed systems, backend development, or large-scale data processing, with strong system design instincts.
Skilled in Go or similar backend languages, and comfortable designing and reviewing production-grade code.
Curious about network protocols, traffic analysis, and how modern systems communicate.
Strategic and adaptable — capable of moving between high-level vision and hands-on implementation.
Collaborative by nature, comfortable leading discussions across engineering, product, and security teams.
Excited by learning, experimentation, and guiding others through technical challenges.

Bonus Points

Experience with Wireshark, Zeek, mitmproxy, Burp, or similar traffic and protocol tools.
Background in security, reverse engineering, or systems instrumentation.
Familiarity with AI behaviors, LLMs, or model integrations.
Prior experience building or leading early-stage engineering teams or core infrastructure systems from scratch.
