• Responsibility for project-based procurement management and/or according to various categories and technological fields. From the development phase and definition of the systems' design to repeated serial production, while accompanying all design processes, price quotes, negotiations and procurement to delivery. While ensuring optimization of the procurement processes

• The role includes:

• Supplier and BOM management:

• Locating suppliers and BOM that match the needs and requirements of the company and local and international projects

• Ongoing management of suppliers, adherence to the schedule and product quality

• Ongoing and daily management of periodic ranking of suppliers and BOM

• Coordination between various departments (purchasing, logistics, production, warehouses and quality) to ensure the flow of procurement processes and materials required for production, assembly and integration processes

• Promotion and control of supplier supplies

• Negotiation and budget management:

• Responsibility for managing negotiations with suppliers, scheduling and managing tenders, price comparisons

• Managing the procurement budget in various projects, realizing discount targets and improving costs

• Measuring delivery times and payment terms

• 10-15 years of experience in the field of procurement and acquisition, operation and management of a procurement system in Israel and abroad in the high-tech/defense sector

• Experience and knowledge in negotiating and managing procurement contracts in Israel and abroad

• Practical experience in the field of integrated systems procurement: electronics procurement, mechanical procurement and integrated systems

• Understanding of product tree development and management processes and NPI processes

• Proficiency in procurement processes Skill in negotiating procurement for the defense industry, knowledge of regulations and controlled component processes

• Proficiency in supply chain processes, shipping and international transportation

• Ability to analyze and solve problems in a project environment

• Good communication skills and interpersonal work interfaces

• Ability to work under pressure and multitask
