Role Overview

Rigaku (RSI) in Migdal HaEmek is seeking a Production & Planning Manager for our Operations Department.

In this role, you will hold overall responsibility for production planning, scheduling, and execution. Responsibilities include building daily, weekly, and monthly production plans, managing work orders, leading integration teams, allocating resources, monitoring system progress, resolving shop-floor issues, driving process improvements, and achieving OTIF (On-Time In-Full), quality, and safety targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Planning: Build production schedules based on customer orders, BOMs, forecasts, and S&OP processes.
• Shop-Floor Management: Oversee daily shop-floor activities, system integration, calibration, and final testing.
• Team Leadership: Manage production and integration teams, task delegation, shift schedules, and overtime.
• Execution & Monitoring: Track work orders, throughput, cycle times, and yield.
• Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Problem Solving: Resolve shop-floor technical and operational issues in close collaboration with Engineering, R&D, and Quality.
• Standardization & Quality: Implement and enforce ECO, SOP, Lean methodologies, 5S, and QMS standards.
• Operations Governance: Lead Gemba walks and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly status reports.
• People Development: Conduct employee training and certifications while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Experience: At least 4 years of experience in production management, production planning & scheduling, or shop-floor management.
• Industry Background: Proven experience in a high-tech or multidisciplinary manufacturing environment.
• Leadership: Demonstrated experience managing personnel and technical integration teams.
• Systems & Tools: Strong proficiency in ERP/MRP systems, BOM structures, work order execution, and production master scheduling.
• Analytical Skills: High analytical capabilities with advanced Excel skills.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven experience working with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Service teams.
• Soft Skills: Hands-on approach, strong leadership, analytical problem-solving, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
