Hardware Architect

An R&D center of a global communications company specializing in smart mobile devices, networking equipment, and cybersecurity solutions.

The position is within a development group focused on switch processing, covering both hardware and software architecture for high-speed networking.

The company’s advanced packet processors are deployed in state-of-the-art data centers worldwide.

The company is located in the Sharon area and employs hundreds of professionals.

The role -

• Define next-generation architecture for Packet Processors / Datapath / Congestion Management in high-performance, complex Ethernet switch SoCs.
• Own the architecture definition from requirements through production.
• Define system-level architecture and micro-architecture for systems and individual blocks.
• Support development teams by providing clear architectural specifications and documentation.

Requirements -

• B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• 10 years of experience in VLSI / ASIC design, chip architecture, or micro-architecture of complex blocks.
• Experience with high-speed networking architectures, such as Ethernet switches, NPUs, NICs, traffic managers, and fabric switches.
