Backend Engineer

Located in Tel Aviv (walking distance from the train station) or Haifa – candidate's choice, operating on a hybrid work model with 1 day WFH per week.

Role Description-

• Joining a core Backend development squad building high-scale distributed systems and enterprise data platforms.
• Hands-on software engineering using Python in a Linux environment.
• Architecting backend solutions for complex AI SaaS applications, handling high-throughput data pipelines, complex databases, and networking protocols.
• Solving intricate algorithmic and system-level challenges around performance, data storage, and high scalability.

Requirements-

• 4 years of hands-on Backend software development experience – Mandatory
• 4 years of strong, hands-on programming experience in Python – Mandatory
• Proven development experience on Linux operating systems – Mandatory
• Demonstrated background building high-scale, complex distributed systems – Mandatory
• Practical experience working with relational/non-relational databases and communication protocols – Advantage
• Background in Big Data infrastructures, Cloud architectures, or Data Engineering tools – Advantage
